Peggy Strachman, MEd

Peggy Strachman has over thirty years of computer development experience. She has a strong skill set in all areas of web design and application development. She is experienced in Visual Basic, ASP, JavaScript, MySQL, XML, and HTML. She is also proficient in implementing E-commerce solutions using Zen Cart, Miva Merchant, Authorize.net, and Paypal.

At meister.NET, Peggy designs and codes web page applications. She is also a team member of DNAGateway.com where she is currently working on a competitive intelligence database for use by the medical and scientific community.

Prior to meister.NET, Peggy worked for Intrasight in Scottsdale, Arizona. During her time with Intrasight, she worked on a large-scale marketing solution database.

Prior to Intrasight, Peggy spent ten years as a college professor at DeVry University and Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix. Peggy taught all levels of mathematics and computer programming courses.

In the beginning of her career, Peggy spent several years with Honeywell Information Systems in Boston, Massachusetts. As a software analyst in the mainframe sector, Peggy designed, coded, and tested operating system software. She was also a customer support liaison whose duties included resolving client support problems, personally delivering new software releases, and educating clients in their use.

Peggy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Boston University and her Master’s Degree in Education from Chapman University.
